Senior Nursery Assistant

We have an opportunity for a senior nursery assistant to join our fabulous team here at Silica Lodge Garden Centre in Scunthorpe.

We constantly aim to deliver a great customer experience in our nursery, Coffee shop and shop areas and are looking for a new person to join our Nursery team.

In this role you will be required to work with the established team and equally be able to work on your own initiative.

This is a full-time role during season it will be a 6am start,  weekend working will be required (on a rota). Pay is negotiable depending on experience, this will be discussed at the interview stage.

Candidates role and responsibilities will include (but not limited to);

Watering plants

Working with the plants, taking good care of the stock

Offloading deliveries and putting the stock out (FLT licence an advantage)

Booking orders in – good knowledge of EPOS is desirable.

Computer literate

Excellent customer service skills

Keeping area’s clean and tidy

Some heavy lifting
